EMPLOYERS - On Campus Recruiting (OCR)

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) services allow convenient scheduling of interviews. Our recruiting program is a popular, cost-effective method to access an able pool of candidates with an impressive blend of practical work experience and academic achievement.

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) is an excellent way to build your presence on campus and find highly qualified candidates. To make the most of your visit, see Building your Presence for a list of ways to promote your company. We recommend that you schedule Corporate Presentations and Information Sessions.

Your interviews will be scheduled for you on-line, and you are welcomed with a continental breakfast the morning of your interviews.

The STARR Career Development Center has eight interview rooms (including a small conference room that seats 12 and a conference room that seats 40 people.

We can reserve additional rooms and larger conference spaces with advanced notice.

OCR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR EMPLOYERS

Employers wishing to conduct interviews on-campus for full-time opportunities and paid internships may participate in our on-campus recruiting program.

Once your reservation has been completed, you will be sent a confirmation by email.

The typical interview schedule for an employer in the program will begin at 9:00am and end at 5:00pm.

30-minute interviews will allow 12 candidates per schedule; 45-minute interviews will allow 9 candidates per schedule; 60-minute interviews allow 7 candidates per schedule. All schedules include breaks and a lunch hour.

OFFER DEADLINE POLICY

We ask that companies making offers to our students allow them until December 1 to accept for Fall, whether the student received the offer from a prior summer analyst internship or from full time recruiting. This will give our graduating Seniors sufficient time to explore their options and make as informed a decision as possible.

We ask that you allow potential summer interns until March 1 to make decisions.

We hope you will adhere to our policy and give students the full time to respond.

We recommend the following schedule for on-campus interviews: 6-12 Weeks before closing date: Confirm date for the interview day and information session. Job is posted on the website. Students can begin applying for the job as soon as it is posted.

Approximately three weeks before interview date: STARR Career Development Center will email resumes or employer will view resumes online. About one week later, Career Center receives selected candidates' names. This allows two weeks for students to sign up for interview times.
